It was only 2 weeks ago that we covered the announcement of Divinity: Original Sin 2 and the fact that it would be coming to Kickstarter soon. Well, that day has arrived and at the time of writing the Kickstarter campaign has already reached a fifth of its goal and it wouldn't surprise us if it blows past the asked for $500,000 well ahead of its finish date 34 days from now.

Divinity: Original Sin was one of the best RPGs ever made, and that's not something we'd claim idly. Classic freedom and sensibilities mixed with modern design makes the turn based combat and freedom to approach any situation however you see fit gives the game an edge over more linear or restrictive RPGs. Besides, you can talk with yourself sometimes and who doesn't love that?
