DICE Rolls Some More DICE onto Star Wars
Disney bought LucasArts and then sold the rights to make Star Wars games to EA. This has left the Internet's collective pants half shat. On one hand, EA is western gaming's Evil Empire of sorts. On the other hand, when was the last time we had a really good Star Wars game?
Luckily, EA did like I hoped and DICE is now opening a new studio in LA to work on Star Wars games. This is awesome, since DICE made the awesome Battlefied 3 and now they can make Battlefront 3 and confuse our acronyms forever. This would be extremely awesome - besides, it's not hard to surpass Battlefront 2. I'm also hopeful for maybe, just maybe, Republic Commando 2, since if there's one thing that EA likes, it's AAA FPS shooters. Hopefully teamwork would survive the transition. And, as far the EA DRM goes, I've yet to experience any of its downfalls while playing Battlefied 3.
But how about you, dear reader? Ready to blow up the Houses of the Parliament and Congress in despair? Or are you trashed on fish and chips in celebration? Chime in in the comments!
