Last week it was revealed that Square Enix (publisher of Deus Ex) filed for a trademark on "Deus Ex: Human Defiance", leading many to believe this may be the next title in the series. Now, yet another Deus Ex trademark has appeared, "Deus Ex: The Fall", leading popular opinion to be that Human Defiance will be the name of the film adaptation of the game that is currently in production, due to similar domain names being registered by CBS Films.
This leaves Deus Ex: The Fall, which Square Enix has filed for both trademarks and domain names, under suspicion to be a new entry in the series. Square Enix is yet to reveal any new game in the Deus Ex universe, while the developer of the series, Eidos Montreal, is currently working on Thief 4 and another, unannounced, project.

This could also mean the upcoming film is planned as a trilogy. They seem to be all the rage these days after all. Could even be a TV series (imagine that?) or an anime or...could be any number of things. The important thing is that more Deus Ex IS coming our way, one way or another
