Decapre to Join the Street Fight
Finally Capcom have put fans out of their misery by announcing the new fighter in Street Fight IV: Ultra. Back last year it was announced that a fifth (new) character was going to be added to the line-up, which led to rumours and speculation. So without further delay the final playable character added to the roster is Decapre.
Making her first appearance as a non-playable character as one of M. Bison's dolls in Street Fighter Alpha 3, the Russian Decapre now joins the fight. She will be seen wearing a partial facial mask which will cover a giant burn scare on her pretty face. Challengers will have to watch for her elusive scramble moves, as well as the infused psycho power attacks to inflict her pain on others.
Decapre along with Poison, Hugo, Elena, and Rolento make up the five being added to bring the final count of 44 fighters in the rosters. Besides these, there will also be six new battle environments that include Pitstop 109, Cosmic Elevator, and Half Pipe to name a few. Fan feedback was taken into account with the Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition original characters and core mechanics to achieve a perfectly balanced experience. New modes and features are sure to please fans looking for something different from the series.
The trailer released by Capcom shows early footage of Decapre and the five other characters in action, and it does look pretty good. For those who own Super Street Fighter IV or Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition already, there will be an upgrade option. The digital upgrade will be available for $14.99/EUR14.99, while the full retail copy will be $29.99/EUR29.99. This will be available from August 2014 for the PC.
