With E3 comes the storm of press announcements, one of which came from Capcom this morning as they announced that Dead Rising 3 will be coming to Steam.

While the original Dead Rising never received a port for PC, Dead Rising 2 saw decent success for it's light hearted take to the zombie apocalypse. While Telltales The Walking Dead has players crying for the fate of humanity, and DayZ has people showing that fear is legitimate, Dead Rising...not so much. In a game where you can have a grown man don a dress and afterwards decapitate the undead with chainsaws taped to the ends of an oar, it's hard to feel fear in a game series where you can pick up a claymore off the streets and go to town on some zombies.

If you're a fan of the series or can appreciate a light hearted approach to serious storytelling, Dead Rising 3 might be something you want to keep an eye on.
