Yo jurors! If you're even remotely a fan of the zombie survival genre then you've no doubt heard of DayZ. Well the developers have just posted a new status report on the development of the game and it seems like security is the general theme of the update.

Some key points:

- Deployment of a new form of BattlEye
- Server side sanity checks and protection against certain currently exploited methods
- Closer work with Valve and the VAC team
