Darksiders 2 Deathinitive Edition is coming to PC tomorrow but what if you already own Darksiders 2 and don't want to buy the same game again? Well, good news Death fans because Nordic have a three tier loyalty program set up for the launch of Deathinitive Edition so that owners of the previous games get some nice surprises. Here's the details:
Tier 1 – anyone who owns the Darksiders franchise pack will get Darksiders 2 Deathinitive Edition for free. Completely free. From the info we've got it sounds like it'll replace the franchise pack.
Tier 2 – if you own Darksiders 2 (but not the franchise pack) you'll get an 80% discount on the Deathinitive Edition from release day.
Tier 3 – anyone who doesn't own Darksiders 2 will get a 20% launch discount which will be in place for a week following the game's launch.
Fairly straightforward system then, and a nice surprise for owners of the previous game. We applaud you Nordic for taking care of your loyal fans. Stay tuned for more info as we get it.

Well, then we have good news. Nordic are now going to be giving it to everyone with all the DLC as well

Most of the reviews I saw were due to game glitches, but yeah I saw some of that, too. I probably would be angry, too if I had already purchased all the DLC and the Deathfinitive Edition added something not available in them, but that's why I just wait for it now.

Awesome! I hadn't planned to get any of the DLC or Deathfinitive Edition, but now I probably will.
