Crystal Dynamics Facing some Trouble

So did Lara Croft in her latest adventure in the reboot Tomb Raider, but with the latest rounds of layoffs of 12 staff, could the sequel be in jeopardy? Well Square Enix has suffered huge financial losses which had resulted in the former CEO stepping down earlier this year, so things still aren't look good for the company as a whole. But according to a spokesperson from Crystal that spoke to Kotaku earlier, they had this to say:
"We've made some decisions at Crystal Dynamics last week around the second project we're working on, which has resulted in a small number of roles (roughly 12) becoming redundant as we re-scope the project...We're a close-knit team at Crystal and wouldn't be making these changes if we didn't feel it was absolutely necessary."
It was noted that the employees who were made redundant were not focusing on the sequel to Tomb Raider, but on another side project for an unannounced game which is unclear at this point if it was cancelled, but odds are it probably wasn't working out and had to be thrown out just like team of 12 working on it. So as they have stated, the company shouldn't be impacted on the output of the quality due to these restructuring plans, but there are still doubts as to if there will be further layoffs, time will only tell at this point onwards.

What they mean by that is "11 but maybe 12 if Mark doesn't start making the damn tea once in a while!"

Roughly twelve? That's highly ambiguous for such a low number
