Cortex Command to Land on Steam
At this point Cortex Command has somewhat become the Duke Nukem Forever of indie games. It began development 11 years ago, with sparse and irregular updates to a project that seemed as if it would never be complete. However, it seems that this vaporware gem has recondensed into Steam.
Announced via the Data Realms blog, Cortex Command will hit version 1.0 this month and will also be released on Steam. Anybody who previously purchased the game will also be receiving a Steam key when the game releases as well.
The 1.0 update will also include a complete campaign that features a planetary metagame, base building and base defense.
Take a look at some gameplay from the latest build and leave a comment what you think.
