Company of Heroes 2 is almost out, and the fine folks at Relic Entertainment have released a developer diary detailing the game's singleplayer and multiplayer modes describing them with an assortment of buzzwords such as "gritty", "realistic" and everybody's favorite "visceral"! The studio seems to have gone an extra mile for the upcoming sequel, visiting locations the game takes place in and everything, and it really shows within the game's detail. Unfortunately, I never got to dabble in the original Company of Heroes multiplayer offering, but if the singleplayer is even half as good as the original's, consider this game to be a contender for one of this year's best.
