With THQ's assets distributed, the Company of Heroes franchise has found itself in SEGA's ownership, and for anyone even slightly worried the sequel may get cancelled, SEGA have announced that Company of Heroes 2 will launch in North America and Europe on June 25.

SEGA acquired Relic Entertainment and the ownership of the Company of Heroes IP for $26.6 million during the THQ asset auction earlier this year, and with SEGA also publishing the hugely popular real-time strategy series Total War, fans of the series should be confident the game will launch the way the developers envision it.

Update: Following the announcement, producer Greg Williams said they hate to disappoint fans with a later release date, but did allude to an upcoming closed beta, "the wait won't be long as players will soon be able to help us test and balance multiplayer in the upcoming Closed Beta", he then continues to say, "Details will follow shortly".
