Aliens: Colonial Marines demo shown during E3 2011 had beautiful graphics and gameplay itself seemed promising. When after several delays, we've finally got the game – well, it was a disappointment on both accounts. Expecting the gameplay to be fixed would be a wishful thinking, but some graphical tweaks appeared quickly after release. Unreal Engine 3 ini files offer a lot of space for tweaking outside in-game settings menu, and you can already get some from Steam Community. Just be careful with some tweaks you may find online, as they might make game crash much more often, as noticed by famous modder MaLDo, because they try to load elements that aren't in the shipped game. So if you regret your purchase, maybe these mods will make it sweeter.
