Command & Conquer Marches On

After EA closed Victory Gamess, Command & Conquer was thought to have been lost forever. But by the looks of things, this was not the case after all, as Nu-C&C is still a going concern. EA is just looking to find the right studio that can handle it. Players, who have spent money on the C & C alpha, have already had their cash refunded by EA, though the game was run as free-to-play. Now, according to an EA support page:

"For those of you who bought The C&C Ultimate Collection, your early access to the beta will be honored once production of this title resumes under a new studio."

The situation is a strange one, considering that Victory was home to many former EA LA staff. With the team at Victory, the experience within the group was a lot more concentrated than EA would find anywhere else. Looking at their RTS games created recently seems to be completed by two studios.

Age of Empires Online was relinquished by Robot to Gas Powered Games before release. So the question now is which team is going to be taking over the completion of the new C&C? Who would you like to see take it over? Let us know below.
