Season Passes are a becoming an ever-more common trend in the gaming industry and it seems Aliens: Colonial Marines will be following this trend. SEGA and Gearbox Software have recently released the pricing and content details regarding the Season Pass for Aliens: Colonial Marines, in addition to announcing the first DLC that is planned for the game.

The Season Pass will include (all) four DLC packs that will be released post-launch and will cost 29.99 USD. The exact pricing of each DLC pack if purchased individually has not been announced yet however, SEGA has already stated that gamers will save "almost 40 percent" if they purchase the Season Pass rather than each pack individually. Included in the Season Pass is the first DLC pack, which will be released sometime in March 2013. Titled "Bug Hunt", it will include a wave-survival mode for online co-op on three new multiplayer maps, each inspired by different environments within the Aliens movies.

Aliens: Colonial Marines launches worldwide on February 12, 2013, across the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
