It might take some convincing after THQ went the way of the dodo, but Company of Heroes 2 is up for pre-order. Pre-ordering from 'participating retailers' worldwide will offer various extra's to the brave ones amongst you.

So what exactly would you get? Well, after launch, you'll have access to a single-player 'Theatre of War' Episode, multiplayer vehicle skin packs as well as two additional commanders for each army playable online. Sega revealed that:

"The German army will receive the Joint Operations Doctrine, specializing in precise artillery strikes and the Offensive Spearhead Doctrine for players who want to use heavy armor and airstrikes to crush their opponent, and the Soviets will unlock the devastating Anti-Infantry Tactics Doctrine, enabling units like flamethrower tanks and the Conscript Support Tactics Doctrine which allows for rapid reinforcement in the heat of battle."

Having opened up the beta and setting the release date to June 25, Company of Heroes 2 seemed to have survived THQ demise fairly well. Is it on you to-buy list?
