Club Cheaterfall

Respawn's Vince Zampella tweeted that new game modes for Titanfall will be free to all players. He also confirmed that there is a season pass, and that the DLC will be available in individual packs for $10 each. Probably thanks to that EA has boasted to investors that Titanfall will continue to make "plenty of money during the fiscal year 2015."

In other Titanfall news, as of March 21, if you're a cheater, you're going to get banned.  Well, sort of. Cheaters will continue to be able to play Titanfall, but they will only be able to play against other cheaters. "You can play with other banned players in something that will resemble the Wimbledon of aimbot contests," the FAQ on banning reads.  Non-cheaters beware: playing with cheaters will relegate you to playing with just the cheaters for that session.

I like the way that Titanfall is dealing with cheaters. They don't lose access, they just get to play with like-minded people. Kudos to Respawn for creatively dealing with the bane of multi-player gaming.

They did the same on Max Payne 3. That is a good system that is punishing cheaters but don't take away the access from their purchase.

Until they find that the cheaters are having even more fun that way and it ends up being an official game mode. I don't condone cheating and I don't really expect that to happen, but it's the sort of amazing twist that can happen in video games.
