Civilization: Beyond Earth has just been released and many people have already bought it and are playing the game. However, many gamers do not rush to pre-order and wait for reviews (like ours) and gameplay videos before deciding what to do with their money. Fortunately for the latter, and those still unsure despite the former, Beyond Earth now also comes with a demo, available on the game's Steam page. It is also a nice way to check for yourself how your particular PC configuration will run the game. As usual, the demo has limited civilization selection and a turn cap, so it will not allow you to evaluate the late game. A small tip for those who will try it – barbarians are nothing compared to aliens.
