Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes, currently being developed by Stardock Entertainment, is the sequel to Elemental: Fallen Enchantress - the Turn-based strategy game in a Fantasy RPG world. Elemental: Fallen Enchantress was itself the repackaging of its predecessor, Elemental: War of Magic, which was universally panned before it became Fallen Enchantress. It looks like the quality is going to increase though, as Stardock has brought Soren Johnson - lead developer, and AI designer of Civilisation 4 - onto their team for a short term role. According to the news report on Stardock's forums, Johnson will be overseeing the design of their current and upcoming games, and making suggestions on how to improve things.

With Johnson's history as an AI programmer and development lead, I can't help but wonder how he will shape Stardock's upcoming games. We'll start to find out when Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes launches sometime around April.
