Valve have a habit of celebrating holidays and other such occasions with awesome new content, Christmas is no different. To get in the seasonal spirit, festive crates are now dropping in game.

These crates have naughty and nice versions, with seasonal weapons and other items inside, all added into the game after a late night patch. Whilst there has been no official update detailing what exactly this Christmas will bring to TF2, some lucky players are already receiving the crates from random drops. As is often the case with themed crates, a special key will be needed to open it.

With the recent Halloween content, as well as the Mann Vs Machine update and Meet the Pyro update earlier this year, it's a good time to be playing Team Fortress 2. Which I do. Religiously.
