Irrational have just released a poll over at their insider blog asking your opinion on what the reversible cover image for the upcoming Bioshock should be. After the rather lukewarm reaction of the community to their official cover it's good to see the team responding. However, due to the way the printing process works the new art needs to be sent ASAP, which means there isn't much time to create new assets or pick a new cover, so hurry over.
The new selection definitely seems a bit rushed, with some of the picks simply being a quick photoshop of previous art assets into the existing cover space, as well as some previously seen key art. Ken Levine also noted that they are planning to release more alternative covers available for fans to print for themselves in addition to the selected reversible art.

I would go with the red one. IMO it looks the best but it reminds me of a cover for a book. Also i don't really care for box art its not like i am looking at the cover of the game for 8 hours. Box art should be chosen on what will make the game sell not on how pretty, beautiful and how happy it will make the fans. If the old box art is what will make the game sell then IMO they should just stick with it. Us gamers play the game for the game and let the cod people buy the game for what they see on the cover.

In all fairness, the community can go jump in a well, a bunch of entitled pricks. I don't really give a hoot about the cover, but the red one is probably finest.

As Jenssen said, none are particularly amazing. The red one, again, is really cool, as is the Handy Man and last image but those look far more suitable as posters than actual cover art in my opinion. A Handy Man image could be really cool but if this is the selection then eh.

In all fairness, as a VIDEOGAME-COVER, I don't find any of them very good. The one showing both the dude and the chick (where the guy is NOT holding the shotgun on his shoulder) isn't too bad in theory, but the way it's presented looks pretty bad. It looks like they had a picture of the guy, the just glued in a picture of the girl on top of that, without bothering to adjust the tones, contrasts, shadowing etc. I find the red one to be an awesome picture, but as a videogame-cover I don't see it being a good choice. A lot of the "CoD-kids" might shy away from the game with such a cover, something that the devs and publishers certainly do not want.

I say the red one is the best! It looks like a book. If not that than the one with the Handy man.
