CCP Refuses To Confirm EVE Valkyrie on PC

CCP's EVE Valkyrie is powered by Oculus Rift. One part that stood out from the CCP interview was that chief marketing officer David Reid was adamant that EVE Valkyrie will not necessary launch on PC...or Oculus Rift. What this means in unclear, but he was very vague on the topic.
"Hold on a second, we haven't confirmed that Valkyrie's on PC. It's capable of playing on PC right now, but we haven't confirmed what we're going to launch it on. It technically works on PC, and it's working fine, but there are other platforms it could run on. There's nothing that technically prevents it from running on a console, for example. Well, I mean, PC is definitely in the cards. Is it definitely something that's there in 2014 on commercial launch day? I couldn't answer that for you yet. We certainly could do it, but it's still a question of whether we will."
Reid also chuckled that it will not be an Ouya exclusive. EVE Valkyrie is basically a virtual reality game, which is kind of the poster child for Oculus Rift at the moment. Reid also shot down the oculus rift link with:
"No, we're not necessarily [basing our launch on when Oculus comes out]. While we can't get into details here, there are other platforms that are available. It is technically possible to run this game without a Rift. There's a whole bunch of different things out on the market right now."
So let us look at what we know about EVE Valkyrie. It is out in 2014, it will involve virtual reality, and beyond that is anyone's guess. Why the Valkyrie won't take its first ride on the PC I don't understand, but anyway, what do you make of it? Comments below.

What?! Seriously? It seems Dust is doing better than everyone thinks then as that is what they get on doing console games.
