Last week we reported on Capcom’s revision of their financial forecasts. They announced a “special loss” of $73 million due to game cancellations. It has now been revealed that these cancellations didn’t involve anything that’s already been announced. During a follow-up conference call regarding the financial statement Capcom clarified that the projects cancelled were due April 2014 and March 2015 though some were scheduled for the fiscal year ending March 2014.

When the company was asked whether they were considering decreasing "the number of development lines for home video games," Capcom assured that development for that market was still a major element of its strategy. The company went on to say that it believes online and console sales will remain on the rise.
