Call Of Thiefhonored Shows Gameplay
The new Thief reboot has been catching a lot of flak over the past year or so. Between the old Thief fans who feel betrayed and newcomers who feel it may borrow a little too much from Dishonored and various cinematic shooters, Thief currently finds itself between a rock and a hard place.
I'm not entirely sure how much of this new gameplay trailer actually is real gameplay, and it should remind most people of Call of Duty or Dishonored, more so than the original Thief trilogy. With that said, it does look pretty cool. There are enough explosions and acts of thievery here to satisfy the most cleptopyromaniac of people. If that really is a thing.
Let's just hope the handholding has been toned down from last time Garret showed his face. Thief is set for release on February 25 next year, so we can expect to see more gameplay popping out of the woodwork over the coming months.
We also have some juicy screenshots. Though the style and mood are suspiciously similar to Dishonored, you can't deny the juiciness of them.
