Another day, another Call of Duty: Ghosts trailer. Today we're getting a look at the beginnings of a 4 part story involving lots and lots of aliens in Ghosts' newest Extinction map: Nightfall. The story goes that some government guys stole alien samples from Colorado, the site of the original extinction map, and took them to a laboratory in Alaska where the cliché thing happens and everyone's dead. Needless to say we're the only dudes bad enough to rescue the presid- er, save the planet from aliens.

I will admit the outcry in the YouTube comments amongst people too young to view the trailer due to its age restriction is equal parts hilarious and sad. Not that I'm against kids playing video games because I was totally blowing away people in Medal of Honor Frontline when I was 12, but I suppose it doesn't do much but reinforce the Call of Duty stereotype.

Extinction is the most interesting part of Call of Duty: Ghosts in my opinion, make of that what you will. I'm glad they're doing more with it and will be sure to check it all out as soon as I'm done thoroughly ignoring the multiplayer.
