Coming off the heels of a modding summit over at headquarters Creative Assembly, modder "Mitch" has dropped the news that not only will Shogun 2 be getting Steam Workshop integration, but that CA would also be releasing new mod tools that will allow modders to edit the in game models and campaign.

While CA released a map editor earlier this year that allows players to create custom scenarios, the development of more detailed mod tools could allow modders to create more elaborate and highly customized campaigns.
