Intel has released a series of interviews talking about the new hardware in the 4th gen core processors, and how that hardware will mesh with game development. They've got Creative Assembly on board, who give a lot of information about how they're planning to make use of the advancements in Rome 2. Most of it is really technical stuff, and I'm not sure exactly how many of these new ideas are only possible now that Intel have made this new chip - and I'm particularly worried that everyone involved seems to be pushing the 'we must have photorealism in our games' line - but I'm always excited to see innovation in any area of gaming, even if it's on the end of the industry that we don't often see.
