Bugbear’s “Next Car Game” Early Access Announced
Bugbear Entertainment is working on "Next Car Game" and has released a small video showing some scenes of what players can expect in Next Car Game, as well as pre-order and Early Access details.
Bugbear Entertainment is known for their FlatOut series and is now working on a title called Next Car Game... Yes... I know, it is a very strange name, but hey, it's their game so let's not judge them too quickly (despite being the Pixel Judgers). Next Car Game, according to Bugbear, will capture the essence of FlatOut, while offering an entirely new and fresh experience unlike anything before. While Bugbear will also likely make a sequel to FlatOut in the future, they first wanted to create something different yet familiar to FlatOut.
The core of Next Car Game's gameplay will be based on two of their previous titles, the element they are taking from FlatOut series is its fun and element of unexpected surprises around each corner. They will then combine this with the core elements of other games such as Destruction Derby games and street racing titles, thus allowing players to build up their own cars that are unique to each player. Next Car Game will also feature tactical damage based on a dynamic destruction engine.
Next Car Game will all be about no rules racing, so ramming, destroying, wrecking, is all allowed and in fact, even promoted! And heck, if the content shown in the video above is any indication, it will be very fun to destroy and hit other cars. The damage physics engine looks great and satisfying to cause accidents within the game's races.
The best news does not end there, this seems to even be a sort of crowd-developing game, meaning if you pre-order Next Car Game you will be given access to developer forums where you and other pre-order people can discuss game ideas and mechanics that the developers can then consider implementing into their game, how neat is that!
So yeah if you not only want to already show your interest in this title by pre-order it, but also want to help the developers make their game, then click here to check out their pre-order bundles. It is important to note that all of these bundles include Early Access to the game.
The bundles are currently discounted and range from 25 USD up to 1000 USD.

Being a HUGE fan of FlatOut - I play Ultimate Carnage (ir)regularly with friends even to this day - I seriously can't wait to hear what these guys have in store next.
