Borderlands 2 Not Done With DLCs Yet
What, you thought Tiny Tina's Assault On Dragon's Keep would be the last DLC for Borderlands 2? What in the world gave you THAT idea?! Not me, nuh-uh! Well, while visiting the Nerdist podcast for episode 378 a while ago was Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford, and he pretty much confirmed that there will indeed be more fluff of some kind. Though the podcast was published a few days ago, it was apparently recorded before the launch of the Tiny Tina DLC.
During the podcast, he talked about college sports, how Aliens: CM wasn't "appreciated as much as some of the other things we've done", movie-games, the next console generation, and very, very vaguely about a supposed future project - a new IP nontheless - for the new generation. Oh yeah, and Borderlands 2 will get more DLCs. What DLCs? Not important, apparently. "More DLC" is the news of the day.
"We're gonna do more. We're gonna do some other things. We don't have details yet about exactly - like, I'm not gonna announce what the other things are" - but Tiny Tina will seemingly not "be the end of it".
Now let's just hope it's not just more overpriced characters and skin-packs, but actual content for us to enjoy.
