Blood Bowl is Back!...err..Again!...umm...With A Real Sequel!
Yo jurors! If you play over-the-top sports games or are familiar with the Warhammer franchise then you might have heard of a little game called Blood Bowl that merged American Football with the fantasy setting of Warhammer for a game that was part sports and part strategy game.
That game was rereleased a few times as the Legendary Edition and then the Chaos Edition as opposed to the more traditional DLC route. Well, looks like Focus Home Interactive and Cyanide Studio are finally ready to release a full sequel.
So what's on deck for Blood Bowl 2? For starters they're going with an entirely new graphics engine to power their enhanced presentation. Players can look for a new UI, better animations and more crowd interaction. The AI also looks to be improved over the first Blood Bowl games and there will be an increased focus on customization including team jerseys and stadiums. Players can also expect a story driven campaign. There's a new (http://www.bloodbowl-game.com/bloodbowl2) website setup that has a host of information on the upcoming game beyond the little snippets I've mentioned. Check it out.
What say you jurors? Ready for more humans vs orcs craziness? Or do you wish someone would take a Warhammer and put the nail through this fantasy's coffin? Let us know in the comments.
