Blizzard are teasing us with an upcoming announcement at Pax East, hinting at something they've been working on which is entirely new. That's right, not a sequel, expansion of rumoured MMO. What could it be?

You'll have to wait until Friday 22nd March to find out exactly what Blizzard are holding out on us, where they will be attending PAX East. In a press release they've been sending out, they state that this announcement will not be any of the following: "a sequel, expansion, or that rumored next-gen MMO" they go on to promise that "it's something we're excited for you to get your hands on".

Maybe Blizzard are going to shock everyone and announce a new IP. After all, they've more or less been sticking to their core franchises of Warcraft, Starcraft and Diablo since 1998. Or maybe, it's something to do with their upcoming 'Blizzard All-Stars' MOBA title. Either way, we'll update you once the announcement hits.
