BioWare Montreal to Develop New Mass Effect
In a recent blog post on the official BioWare (A Division of EA) blog, Yanick Roy has revealed that his team at BioWare Montreal will be developing the next Mass Effect game(s). For those worrying that a new development team might also mean that it won’t be the Mass Effect you know and love, Yanick Roy had this to say:
“To ensure a proper and effective transition, we’ll continue to be supported by the Edmonton studio through the game’s development, working with and learning from them on some critical initiatives. On top of that, Casey remains the Executive Producer, but he will have a Project Director under him, working in Montreal, leading our development team and making day-to-day decisions for the game. We all care very much about Mass Effect and make our decisions based on what’s best for the game.”
He also gives away some important details about the next Mass Effect game(s). Just like Dragon Age III (and damn near all other EA games at the moment!), the game will use the Frostbite 2 engine from DICE (Battlefield 3). Previous Mass Effect games were on the Unreal engine.

Let it rest? But it's so successful! Its EA's and BioWare's cashcow. Besides, now that SWTOR has failed, I highly doubt EA or BioWare will fund KOTOR 3 (they did state in the past that the success of SWTOR would determine for them if it was worth making a new KOTOR).
After the horrid ending of ME3 though I doubt even I (a die hard ME fan) can force myself to go for any new ME games.

Just let it rest. ME3 didn't give the glorious end to a great series but trying to go back into this universe now is just....
