Zenimax Media's Bethesda Softworks has set up a new development team, called Battlecry Studios, based out of Austin, Texas. They've also got a hold of Rich Vogel, former VP at BioWare Austin who was an executive producer on Star Wars The Old Republic.

Hiring a guy who has spent a great deal of time working on MMOs (Also at Sony and EA), you'd think that this has something to do with the upcoming Elder Scrolls Online which Zenimax Online is working on. It seems however that this may not be the case, as Battlecry is working on an 'unannounced project'. Maybe we will see some kind of new Fallout game from these guys, who join Zenimax's Arkane Studios in Austin, who are releasing Dishonored soon.

As long as Bethesda can keep on making great single player games without interference from all this MMO nonsense, I'm happy.
