Endless Legend, the upcoming strategy game by Amplitude Studios, now has a set release date. The doors of the planet Auriga will open on 18th of September for Steam users, the distribution of the boxed release following the day after. This is hardly surprising, seeing how publishers such as the Polish Techland, already announced the release date some time ago.

Also, the official soundtrack has been made available on Bandcamp, free of charge. It may be a good warm-up idea before immersing into the world of Endless Legend.

And believe me, there is a lot to be waiting for! Having been able to try my hand at it during a recent convention and also being the PJ appointed man for the upcoming preview, I can not quite express how really really badly you should try EL. It resembles Eador somewhat, but the core gameplay brings the king of the RTS genre to mind – Endless Legend is a fantasy Civ as much as it can be. Just try it, seriously, and see for yourselves the true competition of Beyond Earth!
