Battlelog Bought Out By EA

ESN, the company that made Battlelog, Battlefield 3's web-browser-server-launching-site, have been bought by EA. The surprisingly part here, to me at least, being that they weren't already a part of EA or DICE. This fits in nicely with EA's new policy of including some kind of online social function in all the games they ship.

"The ESN team is extremely happy to announce that we now are a part of the Electronic Arts family. During the past few years we have been working closely together with EA and DICE to build Battlelog for Battlefield 3. We couldn’t be more excited about this opportunity and the team is looking forward to focus all of its energy on DICE, Battlelog and the Battlefield series."

I bet EA didn't tell them about what happened to all the other 'family members'. But on the subject of Battlelog, it actually works quite well and, being in a browser, allows for easier fixing and changes to be made. Battlelog is also meant to be included in Medal of Honor: Warfighter, but now that EA owns the whole company, maybe we will see it feature in all of their games, possibly even becoming a part of Origin. Leave your predictions below.

Although I do like Battlelog, being able to see all the stats, friend activity etc, I do wish I could just run the game and have a menu to pick SP or MP etc
