Battlefield Not Ready To Become A Yearly Franchise
Medal of Honor series will no longer be scheduled for a bi-yearly release, so everyone has turned to the Battlefield franchise to fill the void, especially since BF3 was a huge success at launch and via its multiple DLCs.
It turns out that EA are not ready to start annualizing this popular series and during an investor call the EA boss Frank Gibeau confirmed this with:
"We are not announcing an annualization of Battlefield today. What we've said is that we will be launching a Battlefield game next year, and we're very excited to show you guys more detail on that coming soon. But we're not announcing an annualization of Battlefield at this time."
While we cannot be sure if they will change their mind and start releasing Battlefield as often as Call of Duty. We do have the Battlefield 4 beta to look forward to this fall...but only if you pre-ordered Medal of Honor: Warfighter!

I hope not. Battlefield is wicked sick and does not need yearly iterations.

Ehh... EA will surely find a way. Its EA after all.
They really need to return to their previous form when they put out games like Mirrors Edge and Dead Space.
