Ahead of E3, a trailer for the next game in the Battlefield series, subtitled "Hardline," has been released. Purported to be taking its cues from major cop dramas and intense detective narratives, the trailer doesn't show off any gameplay, but it does have some characteristics common in Battlefield titles, such as impressive explosions and interesting takes on gameplay. While there's no specific details outlined about where and how the story will be taking place, at the very least, it's looking like it will attempt to be more character-driven than previous entries in the series. With E3 starting up this week, it's almost a certainty that EA will be talking about their next shooter.
