Battlefield 4 Not Rising in China
The Chinese government is at it again with its censorships. According to a report in the Wall Street Journal, they have banned Battlefield 4 following the report of the DLC release China Rising. The government said that it was because of "National Security" issues. EA have declined to comment on the issue at this time.
The single-player campaign of Battlefield 4 is set in the year 2020, when a Chinese admiral plans to overthrow the government. The China Rising DLC adds new maps, vehicles, and an additional gametype, which is all set in the mainland of China. If the reason the Chinese have given is true what it is a National Security issue, what have DICE stumbled upon? And are the Chinese up to something?

It also suggests their military is capable of sedition. Which is a big no-no

Hah, and I thought the Chinese would be proud as they are as capable as the other 2 sides.

Maybe they're worried their populace will use it as a murder simulator in training for a real coup
