BATTLEFIELD 4 MULTIPLAYER TRAILER! Yes, the still ever popular realistic war shooter genre received a multiplayer trailer for one of its biggest games this year, Battlefield 4. Now, games that fall under this genre are the type that I usually try to avoid, due to the fact that they come out on a yearly basis with only minor updates. Obviously this isn't true for all of them, but Call of Duty and Battlefield are the biggest perpetrators for this heinous crime. With that being said, I still think that Battlefield 4 looks incredible. As bored as I've become with Call of Duty, Battlefield still grabs my attention because it has vehicles.

Seriously.

This really shouldn't be the only reason, but it makes the combat significantly more varied than just pointing and shooting. The trailer showcases that same high octane action that makes the game fun. It depicts everything from gun battles on the back of speed boats, to riding ATVs out the window of a skyscraper. Now all of these scenes are great, but it's quite obvious that some of these parts are pre-rendered rather than live gameplay. Even so, the gameplay parts are still well detailed and look better than ever. Ultimately, the trailer delivers the multiplayer action that Battlefield fans want, and not much more. But, it doesn't need more than that to sell.
