Battle World: Kronos out November 5
Battle World: Kronos is a Kickstarted TBS game by the German developers King Art Games. A Sci-fi game inspired by the likes of Battle Isle, Advance Wars and Panzer General! Not many of those these days. So, when is it going to be launched?
Why, November 5, 2013, which is a very unfortunate, some would even say "haunted" date. Although I don't think it matters for the devs: hardcore CoD fans probably aren't into TBS games, and TBS game fanatics will get to it eventually. So all is good in the world.
And some more good might be on track, according to this quote by Jan Theysen, CEO of KING Art Games:
"We're giving the customers a good large game for their money. We provide free cross-platform multiplayer, a league and – early next year – the free DLC "Trains", which contains a new campaign and introduces a whole new unit class. We think that's a pretty good deal. If enough players support us by buying the game legally instead of pirating it, we'll adopt a no-DRM policy as a company policy."
Also, where available (GOG) the game will be without DRM. Some platforms (Steam) might offer their own DRM, but unless you wear a dangerous amount of tinfoil fedoras, that shouldn't be too much of a problem.
So, about two weeks till the game. Are you excited?
