Well, you reap what you sow I guess, but I sure that will not be the end of bots in Diablo 3. Also, if you were a players associated with these bots you were also banned. There is no exact number to be reported, but according to a post on the Diablo 3 forums there were “several thousand”. Bots in Diablo 3 have been an “issues” since the launch, among other things. Since Blizzard decided to use a real money auction house it has been even worse. Blizzard also promises to have an ingame reporting system for bots. It is strange that they are only implementing it now, but it’s better than not having one at all. Hopefully they can cut the numbers of botters down, and create a good environment for real players.
