ArmA Tactics Makes It To Steam
ArmA Tactics, Bohemia's turn-based strategy spin-off from the ArmA series, was released back in May this year, for the Nvidia Shield mobile gaming system. It was later also ported to work on a number of other devices utilizing Nvidia's Tegra 3 and Tegra 4 system chips. If you're wondering what ArmA Tactics is, you'll have a pretty good idea already if you've played the somewhat similar XCOM: Enemy Unknown as ArmA Tactics seems to be more than just a little bit inspired by Firaxis' XCOM reboot from back in 2012.
Though ArmA Tactics was initially only supposed to be playable on Tegra system devices, it has now popped up on Steam as well, with its launch date set to October 1. It seems we will also be getting a whole new campaign with the game, along with or right after the Steam release. It remains to be seen whether or not the game is going to get a facelift from the Shield and tablet versions.
