Capcom sure loves giving their IPs the remaster and remake treatment. And now, there are rumblings that there will be a Resident Evil 2 remake. Not only that but the official Resident Evil Facebook page asking followers for their "honest and frank opinion about the 'Resident Evil 2 Remake' and what the brand identity is supposed to be about?" Basically, "what do you want from a Resident Evil 2 Remake?"

It shouldn't but this blows my mind. So rarely do members of the AAA game industry ask gamers what they want, at least not as directly as this. It's a positive move on behalf of Capcom, certainly, and feels like an auspicious start for the RE2 remake. Watch this space for more details as they are released and be sure to comment on the official Facebook thread about what you'd like to see from the new remake (if/when it materialises).
