At his new office in Dallas, Oculus VR CTO John Carmack will meet a familiar face. Matt Hooper, the longtime Id employee, the creative director of RAGE, left Id half a year ago. The recent update of his LinkedIn shows his newest job as "Director of Development" at Oculus VR, which was confirmed by the company. The timing of the hiring does not seem accidental and it is likely that Carmack is inviting specialists he knows to work with him at his newest employer.
