America's King

Though the game itself is still a month away from release, Ubisoft have already given us details about their plans for Assassin's Creed III DLC (Downloadable Content). Love it or loathe it, they're opting into the Season Pass business model. For an actually quite reasonable $30 (which will likely translate to £20) we will be given a three part, episodic single-player campaign called "The tyranny of King Washington". An enigmatic and most compelling title promising "an alternate history of the events following the American Revolution".
Further to this, we've been promised multiplayer content (as yet no specifics) that will possibly have some relation to history's unknown King, as well as others that will have nothing to do with it. As irritating as it is to be told about things like this before the game is even released, the fact we're, apparently, being offered so much for less than half the price of a full game...if they deliver, Ubisoft may have just made an announcement that will earn back some of their lost grace from recent years. Let's hope they keep it up. In the meantime, what does everyone else think?

Same goes for Max Payne 3, Darksiders 2, Borderlands 2... :/
Well whatever, hopefully the gmae will deliver in spades.

So the game costs £40. The Season Pass costs £20, games are now essentially £60 -_-
