For those of us who are hell bent on keeping up with the very latest developments in the gaming world...should probably look somewhere else. For those of us who want to look back on previously unknown nuggets of information about games we love, this is definitely where we should be. Out of nowhere (like David Hasselhoff) someone managed to dig up this absolute gem of Half-Life history. From where? Who knows? Maybe they penetrated Gaben's office, in a daring midnight raid which involved hang gliders, steel cable and a packet of blueberry muffins. That must be how it went down. And the result was the video you see above. An Alpha build of the original Half-Life, showcasing every section that ultimately made it into the finished product, in less than forty minutes. Cramming all that in to such a small time scale is a work of genius all on its own.
