Earlier today we reported on a series of three, peculiar video clips posted on Vine by Bethesda. Speculation abounded on what new game the clips could be alluding to. Guesses ranged from Fallout 4 to Doom 4. Now all has been revealed on Bethesda's twitter.
The new project is headed by legendary developer Shinji Mikami of Resident Evil fame and it's called The Evil Within. Like Mikami's earlier works the game will be survival horror. The debut trailer is suitably creepy and features live action that feels vaguely reminiscent of the first Resi's opening cutscene. The game will also be made in conjunction with Bethesda's Japanese studio Tango Gameworks.
I can't wait to see more of this project and it looks like we won't have to wait long as Bethesda says they will be announcing more about the game on Monday.

I'm not what you would call Bethesda's biggest fan...but an open world, sandbox horror game would be incredibly interesting
