Alien Add-ons
SEGA intends to release five add-on DLC packs for Alien: Isolation. We've previously covered the pre-order DLC featuring the Ripley and the original crew of the Nostromo. The first to be released of these new DLC packs will be called 'Corporate Lockdown' and it will follow Seegson Executive Ransome, a character featured in audio logs and emails that you can find throughout the main game. Ransome, having caught wind of the Torrens arrival, decides to hitch a ride and make his escape...though of course it's not that easy. The DLC pack includes three new maps called 'Severance', 'Scorched Earth' and 'Loose Ends' which players are encouraged to compete on across a variety of different modes. In order to get a place on Alien: Isolation's online leader boards, players can either try to escape the station in the fastest possible time or achieve the highest score on a bunch of side and hidden quests or they can take part in Gauntlet mode where they must complete all three of the new maps in a row without dying.
Corporate Lockdown will release October 28th 2014. It will be followed by four more add-on packs called 'Trauma', 'Safe Haven', 'Lost Contact' and 'The Trigger', featuring a new playable character as well as new maps and objectives to complete in each. These packs will all be available in the Season Pass, the price of which will be at a 25% discount. All five packs will be out by March next year and each pack individually will cost $7.99 (or £5.59 in real money).

Frankly. The more I hear, the less I like. One of the dudes from the Astronauts wrote an in depth, critical and very scathing analysis of...precisely why I know I'm going to hate it too.
I am so damn glad I cancelled my pre-order
