Activision Is Shrinking

But not by much. 0.5% to be exact. This is due to Activision letting go of 30 employees worldwide who represent the said percentage. This is due to them balancing the spread sheets or in other words "align its costs with its revenues". Acti also announced to release less shitty games this year by publishing fewer licensed games.
"Like any successful business, Activision Publishing consistently works to align its costs with its revenues – this is an ongoing process. In 2013, we expect to release fewer games based on license properties and as a result are realigning our structure to better reflect the market opportunities and our slate. Approximately, 30 full-time employees have been impacted globally, which represents approximately one half of one percent of Activision Blizzard's employee population."
Even though I'm happy to know there will be less 007 Legends in this world yet still I find it strange that half of fired people are from Treyarch. Yes, Activision said that this wouldn't interfere with the upcoming DLC but what about the Call of Duty that is coming in two years? Isn't that being developed by Treyrach? Is Activision handing it to another studio or maybe slowing down the release of the game altogether to one game every two years? So many questions. Do you have any answers or your own speculations?
