Namco Bandai announced via Twitter that Ace Combat Assault Horizon, the latest entry in the series, will be coming to PC in early 2013 via digital download and retail. Billed as "airplane based Call of Duty", Ace Combat Assault took the series into modern military territory, focusing on a more realistic storyline and setting than the previous games. It also adds a COD-esque progression system to its multiplayer.

As PC gamers we tend to get more simulation style flight games. For those who prefer a more arcade-like approach, but still enjoy the aesthetics of modern military craft this could be a treat.
