A Fusion of Dark Matter

If you fuse 2D and 3D along with the survival horror genre and add InterWave Studios into the mix....what do you get? Dark Matter, which was announced by Iceberg Interactive as being developed by the guys who brought you Nuclear Dawn back in 2011. Although since then, they've decided to move onto this latest project which has the player exploring in the 2.5D environment of a derelict spaceship. Which has been infested with nasty parasites and other E.Ts. You'll be expected to collect space ship parts and blueprints, probably to build something for a means of transport to get the hell out of there!

"After Nuclear Dawn, we dedicated ourselves to a more personal project, a revival of the Metroidvania canon, but with an InterWave twist," says Michael Beenen, CEO of InterWave. "Dark Matter is a fantastic convergence of passion and technology, a dark world to explore, a great new story to discover. We are excited to bring it to a worldwide audience thanks to Iceberg's great work."

You can expect Dark Matter to hit Steam later during the middle of October, and will be available for PC, OS X and Linux.
